Mr. Kyle Maestri

Mr. Maestri is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. He grew up in a Christian home where he was taught to ask hard questions which deepened his faith at a young age. He attended Biola University and was part of their first full graduating class of the Torrey Honors Institute, a Christ-centered classical education great books program. While at Biola, he studied Philosophy and Theology and gained a passion for K-12 classical education. In 2003, he was approached to help start a classical Christian school for the Prescott area. He was daunted by the task, but trusted that God was leading and did not want to miss out. He completed his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University in 2009. He loves teaching, spending time with students, being at home with his family, reading, and playing basketball. Along the way, during the beginning of the school, he married his true love, Anni. They now have four beautiful daughters that they are working hard to raise in the truth of God’s Word. Please pray for him and his family as he leads this ministry with the guidance of the School Board, the Word, and the Spirit of God.

Mrs. Blount also has two sons that live in South Dakota and Minnesota with their families. Therefore, you will find Mrs. Blount spending most of her vacation time visiting her three (soon to be four) grandchildren! She has been at Trinity for over 12 years, serving as a 2nd/3rd grade teacher for her first eight years, and then continuing as the Grammar School Principal. Mrs. Blount has always felt called to serve at Trinity and is grateful for the opportunity to help further God's Kingdom through Christian education.

Some career highlights include employment with the United States Army as the Training and Curriculum Director for their Early Learning Centers, Director for the Colorado Springs campuses of Colorado Christian University, and as the Director of Assessment for The Classical Academy. Originally from Southern California, Mrs. Calhoun spent the last 17 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is thrilled to be living in Prescott, surrounded by extended family. Mrs. Calhoun is married to her wonderful husband, Michael, and they have a daughter, Caroline, who attends Trinity Christian School.
