MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Mr. Kyle Maestri

Headmaster

Mr. Maestri is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. He grew up in a Christian home where he was taught to ask hard questions which deepened his faith at a young age. He attended Biola University and was part of their first full graduating class of the Torrey Honors Institute, a Christ-centered classical education great books program. While at Biola, he studied Philosophy and Theology and gained a passion for K-12 classical education. In 2003, he was approached to help start a classical Christian school for the Prescott area. He was daunted by the task, but trusted that God was leading and did not want to miss out. He completed his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University in 2009. He loves teaching, spending time with students, being at home with his family, reading, and playing basketball. Along the way, during the beginning of the school, he married his true love, Anni. They now have four beautiful daughters that they are working hard to raise in the truth of God’s Word. Please pray for him and his family as he leads this ministry with the guidance of the School Board, the Word, and the Spirit of God.

Mr. Aaron Rosberg

Assistant Headmaster

Aaron and his wife, Erin, have lived in the Prescott area for a little over 14 years and are blessed to have the opportunity to raise their kids here. Aaron has a Bachelor’s in Communication from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Aaron has always felt a calling to ministry from the Lord and he is honored to fulfill that calling through the ministry of Trinity Christian School. Aaron and Erin are excited to have both their son and daughter attending Trinity Grammar School. They are honored to be a part of the Trinity family and are excited to see all that God has in store for the students, families, faculty, and staff of Trinity in the years to come.

Mrs. Jennifer Calhoun

Grammar School Principal

Mrs. Jennifer Calhoun joined Trinity Christian School in 2022 as the Grammar School Assistant Principal. Mrs. Calhoun is a graduate of Vanguard University and has spent the last two decades serving children,staff, and families. She began her career in the classroom as a special education teacher before finding her niche as a school administrator. Some career highlights include employment with the United States Army as the Training and Curriculum Director for their Early Learning Centers, Director for the Colorado Springs campuses of Colorado Christian University, and as the Director of Assessment for The Classical Academy. Originally from Southern California, Mrs. Calhoun spent the last 17 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is thrilled to be living in Prescott, surrounded by extended family. Mrs. Calhoun is married to her wonderful husband, Michael, and they have a daughter, Caroline, who attends Trinity Christian School. Every morning upon arriving at the Grammar school building, she prays over your children (specifically Colossians 1:9-10) and considers it a privilege to partner with you in this journey.

Ms. Mandy Pena

Grammar School Assistant Principal

Mandy is a fourth-generation Prescottonian. She grew up all over the state and graduated from Mayer High School in 1994. In college, Mandy attended Western New Mexico University in Silver City and studied Elementary Education, and later went on to receive her Master’s degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught in both California and Ohio. She is enjoying being back after nine years of being a stay at home mom and homeschool teacher to her two beautiful children. Mandy feels blessed to have had both of her children at Trinity with her where she knows they’ve received a fantastic education. Her passion for teaching children about Jesus and His lifesaving power grows each year and she’s excited for the opportunity to be a part of this community!

Mr. Anthony Parla

Upper School Principal

Originally from Oregon, Anthony and his family answered God's call to serve the students and families of Trinity Christian School in 2023. Before joining Trinity, he served as both a charter school principal and a Christian school principal and taught elementary and middle school students. Anthony holds an Associate of Arts in Theology, a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, and a Master of Arts in Teaching. He also completed his principal licensure program through Concordia University.

As Upper School Principal, Anthony is committed to cultivating a school culture where every student feels safe, respected, and challenged to grow in wisdom, virtue, and faith. He feels honored to partner with families in providing classical Christian education that prepares students for a life well lived.

Anthony and his wife, Heather, are the proud parents of five children. In 2018, they began homeschooling using a classical Christian approach, and today all of their children attend or have graduated from Trinity. In his free time, Anthony enjoys hiking, mountain biking, drinking Kombucha, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Tyler Nelson

Athletic Director

Tyler graduated with a B.A. in Business Management and a certificate in EMT-B from Mesa State College in Colorado.He has embraced many different callings in his career. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in ministry, operations and athletics. He has coached many different high school sports including football, basketball and baseball, and officiated at the high school and collegiate levels. Tyler has had the privilege of serving with the Young Life Ministry and in various ministry operations for parachurch organizations to local churches. He and his wife, Carrie, have 2 beautiful daughters.

Mrs. Whitney Bautista

Dean of Student Formation,

Grammar School

Whitney’s journey with Trinity began as a parent, where she saw firsthand how special classical Christian education truly is. She and her husband, Robert, are blessed with three daughters, as well as two big doodles, a cat, and a turtle.

Her background is rooted in both special education and ministry. Whitney holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Northern Arizona University in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialty in cognitive disabilities from San Diego State University.

In 2017, the Lord called Whitney’s family back to Prescott—where she was born and raised—and led her into vocational ministry. She spent nine years serving at a local church as the Children’s Director.

Outside of school, Whitney loves reading and spending quality time with her family. She also has a passion for hospitality.

Mr. Robert Figeuroa

Dean of Student Formation,

Upper School

Robert was born and raised in Southern California. After high school, he joined the US Army and recently retired after a blessed 20-year career. During that time, he received a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University.

Post-military, Robert felt a calling to join Trinity to teach, coach, and mentor the next generation of Christ-following Americans.

Robert and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of 4 kids. He enjoys skydiving, golf, and spending time in the backyard with family and friends.
