Thanking and Reporting Letter Spring 2023

Dear Trinity Community,

If you are like me, it doesn’t take long watching the news or reading newspaper headlines to create a sense of anxiety about the state of our world today. It is easy to shift our focus to the size of our challenges and conflicts instead of acknowledging and placing our full reliance on almighty God. I imagine that is what was on Paul’s heart for the Philippian church when he penned these words of encouragement to them:

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." ~ Philippians 4:8

Today, we want to thank you and call your attention to the good works that you have been so faithfully dedicated to as a partner with Trinity Christian School. You are indeed part of something pure and lovely through your prayers, as well as giving your time and your gifts - directly impacting the lives of our 478 students and their families. Allow us to share some good news!

Celebrating our Advancement

As part of our accountability to you, we regularly share updates regarding our ministry advancement. Here are a few highlights of what we’ve seen the Lord do at Trinity:

• Enrollment has grown from 445 to 478 in the past year

• Our new Warrior Event Center is nearly complete (Open House in August)

• The architectural drawings for the new K-8 classroom building have been submitted to the city for plan review

• Significant investments in faculty training and compensation has resulted in over 93% retention of our faculty and over 17% raises in salaries

• Athletic programs continue to thrive adding league and State Championships:

  • Jr. High Girls Basketball - League Champions

  • Jr. High Boys Basketball - League Champions

  • Varsity Girls Volleyball - State Champions

  • Jr. High Girls Cross Country - State Champions

  • Varsity Boys Cross Country - League Champions

• Trinity Robotics Team is earning distinction in competition

• Growth in service and missional opportunities for students

Faithful Partnership

We are continually amazed at the faithfulness of God’s people in supporting the growth and development of this school. Giving has surpassed $7 million dollars which has helped fund the construction of our first three buildings on the Warrior Way Campus! We are in awe of what God has accomplished, through you, in such a short amount of time. The Warrior Event Center/Gym will be completed in May and we look forward to inviting you to an Open House Event in August. This will be a special time praising God for this incredible new facility.

Marching Forward

Parents are looking to Trinity to partner with them and their children in record numbers. In fact, our student waitlist exceeds 200! The Trinity board and leadership are confident that this is the time to continue to press forward, building out the Warrior Way Campus. Phase II of our Great Expectations Campaign includes the development and construction of a new K-8 classroom building. This 43,000 square foot building will contain 36 classrooms which will allow us to unite our Trinity students on the Warrior Way Campus and permit us to admit up to an additional 300 students/families. We have over $700,000 given already in support of architectural design/plans as well as site preparation - just short of our $1,000,000 needed. After this goal is met, when we raise an additional $4,000,000 we will break ground on this projected $9,500,000 building. Also in Phase II, we have plans for playgrounds, an outdoor amphitheater and athletic fields. Please join us in prayer asking for God’s continued provision.

Rejoice!

As we reflect on all that has been accomplished, we praise God for all He has done! As Paul implored the Philippian church we:

"Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice." ~ Philippians 4:4

We are overwhelmed by your active participation in the mission and vision of Trinity. You are making an eternal impact on each person on the Trinity team; teachers, staff, families and most importantly, our precious students. We want you to know that your prayers and giving are the fuel that drives this ministry forward! Together, we are discipling and raising the next generation of men and women who will influence the culture for Christ’s glory. We may not be on the news or in the headlines, but this is truly God’s work - and you are an essential part. Please accept our heartfelt thank you for walking so faithfully with us.
